Game Audio Playthrough 51 - Necesse We’re back with Game Audio Playthrough in Aarhus! This time, we’re joined by local sound designer and composer Rune R. B. Eskildsen, who will be welcoming us into the offices of Fair Games, the studio behind the smash-hit game Necesse. About the Presentation: As the composer and sound designer for Necesse, Rune R. B. Eskildsen oversaw a major audio overhaul, expanding and evolving the original sound design created by Necesse’s creator, ‘Fair’, during the game’s early solo development phase. The goal was to strike a balance between aesthetic immersion and practical gameplay communication, ensuring that the sound both enriches the world and supports the player’s actions. Rune will share insights into his creative process and approach to sound design and music composition.
